April is upon us already. If you are investigating HCBC, please consider joining us this month, especially for our meetings on Resurrection Day, Sunday, April 8th. We will be having a sunrise service beginning at 6:00am at the home of one of our families. Please contact us to get details and information about this special meeting.

Following the sunrise service, we will be skipping this week’s seminar but reconvening at our normal time of 10:30am for our regular meeting. We will once again be studying the gospel of John.

For those of you who attend our Knowing God seminars (Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the cafeteria), as mentioned above, there is no seminar this week, however, we will continue our study of our new topic, Evangelism, on April 15. This new series began April 1, and we considered the question “Why?” Why should the church be involved in evangelism. We hope you will be encouraged to draw nearer to Christ through learning about this Christian discipline, and also be prompted to begin, or continue to proclaim the good news of God’s grace this year.

After our main meeting, our practice is to enjoy lunch together. If you’re a visitor, please feel welcome to stay and get to know us better. Our fellowship meal is a great time to meet many of us and learn about who we are as a congregation. We would love to host you for this time of fellowship.

• Prayer meeting at about 12:45pm

Please join us at our location in the campus of Colorado Springs Charter Academy at 2577 N. Chelton Rd. Parking is across the street from the school building. We’ll have signs posted to help you find the meeting rooms, nursery, and cafeteria.
